We provide separate Windows and driver disks with every PC. Almost all large PC firms provide only what they call a "recover CD" or "backup CD". This contains just one image file that'll theoretically restore your PC to "factory condition". If your PC crashes the last thing you want is to restore it to factory condition, losing all your data! Firms use the excuse that it's to prevent Windows being pirated, or that they aren't allowed to supply the Windows CD. Don't believe it. Separate Windows & driver CDs are your safest bet. You can have them. We provide them as standard.
